Casey Anthony Stuff

Been trying to keep up on this story. I remember when this story broke. Its such a shame a child had to loose her little young life. I have my own thoughts and opinions on this case and I'm sure from what I've been reading there not much different from most people.

I don't believe any of the water work tears Casey now seems to display at every chance. She should have been showing them from the vary beginning. I know and understand that we all act and react to things differently but to not show any feelings that your child is missing is something else. Really you have to be close to comatose to not have any feeling when your child comes up missing and not go looking for said child. This is just my opinion and that's that!

Mother's Day

I planted some dreams today with my future daughter in law. These plants and flowers were a gift from my Nate and Heather.

I hope all the mothers out there had a wonderful day. I hope you got to spend some time with your children and or maybe with your grandchildren.
If you look in the bushes you might see the bears.
The bears welcome you.

The Day Finally Came!!!

I think like most people, in the back of my mind I was waiting for this day to finally come. Osama Bin Laden finally has gotten what he should have gotten years ago. I do believe though that Karma has a way of working and working things out. It may have taken 9 years 7 months and 20 days but this day has finally come.

September 11, 2001 was one of the worse feared days of my life. Even though I was not directly effected like all the people who lost their lives nor was I one of the families who lost a loved it still non the less effected not only me and my family but all the people I knew and didn't know.

My day started off like any other at that time. I had just gotten showered and dressed and was going in to my son's room who was 5 years old at the time to pick out a pair of socks for him to wear that morning. My son had his radio on as he always did, he loved to have his radio on when he went to sleep at night. As I was pulling out a pair of socks I heard on a radio station from Indiana some news about a fire at the twin towers in New York. I went out to the living room where my son was watching cartoons and I turned on Good Morning America. Diane Sawyer and Charlie Gibson were trying to get information out that they had so far.

Not a couple minutes into this they broke in to watch the second plain hit into the south tower. As I sat there in shock, my mind was racing just trying to get a grasp of what I just saw. As Good Morning America started re playing the horror again and again I told myself there was no way I could go to work in Champaign which at that time was 30 mile south of us and leave my son's and husband there in our home town. It was one of the hardest days of my life to leave my family!

has everyone been watching?

The Eagle Family - Has everyone been watching the eagles? It is so cool to be watching the family of eagles. The babies are getting bigger and bigger with each passing day. Mom and dad are so watchful and so loving to the babies {their are 3 little one's}. Dad brings in the food and mom stays with the babies and keeps them safe and warm. If you haven't checked them out well then go take a look. Enjoy!!!

It's another cold day!

It's another cold and possibly snowy day. I can't believe we had such wonderful warm days last week and now this, YUK!!! I'm so looking forward to not only the warm days ahead but also the longer days and nights.

I hope everybody had a good week and are having a great weekend. Already it seems like the months are passing by so fast. School will be out in another month and a half. I'm looking forward to my baby going to high school next year. Wow! now there's a thought, high school next year. It's hard to believe that 14 years have gone by this fast and here I just said the months are going by so fast.

Next August will be a huge mile stone in my youngest son's life. A lot of changes are awaiting him and how his future will slowly play out. Oh the girls are gonna start coming and going or maybe he will find a girl who is with him through out high school. Either way I hope he really puts himself in to new and wonderful opportunities that I'm sure will come his way.

Do any of you have any children going into high school next school year? Have you noticed how the years have just blown by? So many things and so many season's have come and gone and I'm really looking forward to all that is to come!

Such a beautiful day!

The sun was out and it was a nice cool day. I had the window open in the living room and there was a nice breeze coming in. I am so looking forward to the warm days to come. I can't wait to sit outside and to have bbq's and work in the yard.

And on that note don't forget to change your clocks ahead one hour tonight before you go to bed. I love that it stays lighter longer I just hate loosing that hour of sleep.

It is such a mind blower the 8.9 earthquake that happened in Japan on Friday 3/11/11. I have been watching the news most of the day and I just can't wrap my mind around the whole devastation and the destruction the people of Japan are now having to deal wtih. I hope and pray the nuke reactors don't go into melt down. My thoughts and prayer are with all of Japan.

It sure is a cold one today. We got snow yesterday but not really to much, at least not what I was expecting. Though I hear the south & east really got hit hard. Maybe next winter we'll get all that snow. Since living here we really haven't gotten that much snow. At least not as much as people have told me it use to snow here.

From a not so happy person.

Ahhhh, still the Drama Queen and I'm still Perfect!  Glad to see that your still miserable, cold and unhappy. life must be long and hellish for you.  I know  deep inside of that Ice Cavern you call a heart, you secretly hope that I seek you out. I was not doing that as a matter of fact as you were assuming, just confirming to myself that any picture you post is always a look of UnHappiness.  But you know what works best for you, as you have stated that "you have made a life" without me in it.  Kinda like an Atheist without God!
Even though my standard is to remove myself from people who are energy suckers and depressing, you are my wicked sister and I still Love you, but that's about as much as I'm giving.

I am a

Our new cat Oliver

This is our new cat Oliver. Oliver came home with me from work because he just didn't seem to want to be a clinic cat. Since being here for almost a month he has sure become a house cat and seems to love all his new sibling including the birds.

Another New Year

Here we are in the third day of 2011 and I have to say so far its been a pretty good year. The holidays came and went fast and so did the snow we got on Christmas Day. I got what I asked for not on Christmas but on New Years Eve. Since we got 5 1/2 in of snow for the big white Christmas I wanted it to be warm on New Years and so it went. It wasn't exactly bikini weather but it did melt all the snow and it was nice not having to wear a thick heavy coat when we went out for the evening {dinner at JJ's Burgers & Beer}.

We rang in the new year at home watching tv and having a glass of cheap champagne. Hubby had to work the next day and the alarm rings early so hubby had to say good night to all and hit the hay. My son played Xbox and I surfed the net. That I would say is the safe way to bring in a new year.

I hope everyone had good holidays and a safe New Years!
